Massage

We recommend massage in combination with your chiropractic care.  While Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and its impact on the nervous system, massage focuses on the 650 muscles of the body.  Both disciplines work together to help keep the body in proper alignment, balance and function.

Long standing spinal problems are accompanied by ingrained muscle patterns.  Muscle spasms and scar tissue are often involved.  By augmenting your chiropractic care with masswage therapy, these muscle and soft tissue problems can be addressed.  This can help speed your recovery and enhance the retraining of your spine.

Our in-house massage therapists work throughout the week, including weekends and after hours.  A massage in the comfort of your own home can also be arranged by appointment.

Nutritional Supplements

At Castlecrag Chiropractic we offer a range of 'practitioner only' nutritional suppplements made from the highest quality raw materials.  While no pill can make up for a poor diet, supplements play an important role in achieving optimum health.   They may also go hand in hand with your Chiropractic treatment to reduce inflammation of joints, boost energy levels and enhance your quality of life.

Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Castlecrag residents - Chiropractor Castlecrag Chris Asks...

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
